About the movement

A serious reform platform wearing a satirical name.

CCMDS is the public identity of the Cockroach Medico-Dental Collective.

Our purpose

CCMDS brings together doctors, dentists, students, trainees, teachers, applicants and affected families dealing with professional matters before the National Medical Commission (NMC), National Dental Commission (NDC), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), and related central or state regulatory authorities. We believe regulation must protect the public without sacrificing fairness, clarity or dignity.

We address matters concerning medical and dental education, recognition of qualifications, registration, licensing, professional conduct, ethics, disciplinary processes, institutional approvals, appeals, grievance handling and regulatory delay. We do not oppose regulation. We oppose regulation without explanation, delay without responsibility, and decisions without procedural fairness.

Why “cockroach”?

The name symbolises professionals expected to survive repeated documentation requests, opaque processes, contradictory instructions and career-threatening delays.

A cockroach survives. CCMDS asks why qualified professionals need extraordinary survival skills merely to receive ordinary administrative fairness.
